An Academic Coach meets individually with students to assess strengths and areas of growth and provide encouragement so that students can excel. They work with students on motivation, organization, time management, personal accountability and basic academic skills, and then help students create and implement plans for success.
An Academic Coach can help with:

How can I make an appointment with an Academic Coach?
Visit University Tutorial Services (UTS), located in lower level Student Services Center. Request an Academic Coach at the desk during UTS operating hours.
Attend your scheduled meeting: Academic Coach offices are located in lower level Simon Hall and remember to bring your material to the meeting.
What should I bring with me to my appointment?
Recommended material to bring to your meeting with your Academic Coach:
- Completed assignments
- And any other relevant information you think is important for the class
