Performance Outcomes Plan

In the wake of a three-part study of the State System of Higher Education that looks into the future needs of students at the 14 member institutions, each university was directed to develop a Performance Outcomes Plan. The State System study is commonly called "The Convergence Report."

The plan examines the means to enhance quality, productivity and efficiency, and each plan is specific to each of the 14 universities. Bloomsburg's plan focuses on ways to reduce costs while providing high quality programs of instruction, service and research.

The 14 universities are publicly funded to a large degree, with the balance of financial support coming in the form of tuition and various fees. The steps Bloomsburg University plans to take in responsible use of this funding to provide quality education to the citizens of the commonwealth is what the Performance Outcomes Plan is all about.

Because of the size of the plan, it is summarized on line in three sections. Appendices referenced in the plan are not included, but the entire report is available for inspection at a number of locations at the university, including Andruss Library.
