- Red Cross Blood Drive, Dec. 2-3, KUB Ballroom. If you are in need of community service hours, we need your help. There is a blood drive Dec. 2 and Dec. 3 from 1 to 7 p.m. Volunteers can sign up for as many one hour shifts as you'd like. If you donate blood, you automatically receive two hours of community service. Nominations are open from through Dec. 11, 4 p.m.
Nominate one professor by going to the Web site. You must write a narrative on your nominee's merits on why they are outstanding. All nominations are kept confidential. Two faculty are selected by a committee and announced at the May '10 graduation ceremonies. The selected professors will receive a plaque at their college graduation ceremony and professional development funds. - SOLVE Office, BU's Annual Giving Tree Project, through Dec. 1. Trees will be set up in the Kehr Union, as well as the Student Services Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Students and faculty will be able to pick an ornament to donate Christmas gifts to help make the holidays a little brighter for about 200 local children and senior adults.
