Hi! My name is Kristin Austin and I am an Assistant Director of Admissions and the Coordinator of New Student Orientation. With so many educational choices and opportunities in existence today, choosing where to pursue your college degree is a difficult decision. Please know that I am very excited to work with you through your college search process! I would like to help you organize your priorities, explore major and career options and determine if Bloomsburg will be the best fit for you! I made one of the best decisions ever to attend Bloomsburg University for my Bachelor’s degree and have enjoyed a successful career ever since! My goal is to help other students find the same success in their school and in life after graduation as well! I travel to high schools and college fairs predominantly in and around the Harrisburg, PA area. Ask your guidance counselor when I will be in your area! I would love to hear from you and/or your parents if you have any questions about Bloomsburg! GO HUSKIES!!!

Why I came to Bloomsburg: Being from Central PA means the Bloomsburg fair was always a part of my childhood. Eventually, I learned that there wasn’t just a cool fair in Bloomsburg, but there was also a great University! The fact that BU offered a sign language program only reinforced my desire to attend. Attending Bloomsburg has been among the top five best decisions I have made in my life to date.
