Located in Elwell Hall, the Campus Child Center provides day care for children of Bloomsburg University students, faculty, staff, alumni and community children who are eligible for child center services. Service hours are from 7:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. Children served are from ages six months to 12 years.
School Age (completed 1st grade) summer care is available for children immediately following their last day of school. Flexible scheduling options include $16 for a part day and $25 for a full day.

University registration materials will be placed on hold for all accounts not paid in full at the close of each semester.

Student: An individual who is enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program
Non Student: Faculty, staff, alumni, and community.
Full time: 4 or 5 days per week; any number of hours in a day; same days every week
Part time: < 4 days per week; any number of hours in a day; same days every week
Registration Fee: Students and non-students pay a non-refundable $20.00 registration fee. The $20.00 registration fee is charged each time there is an interruption in childcare service.
Deposit: A non-refundable $50.00 deposit must be paid at registration by both students and non-students; this deposit is applied to the first tuition payment.
Additional Days and School Age: When space permits, additional days can be scheduled. A two-day notice along with payment is required in advance. Payment is non-refundable and required whether or not your child attends. Additional days scheduled cannot be switched. Additional day forms are available at the center.
Late Fees: $10.00 charge per child if the child is not picked up by 5pm. This must be paid before the child returns to the Center.

A Child's Health Assessment must be on file by the first date of attendance. The Center must be able to reach at least one parent or designated emergency person at all times. The child will be released to the following persons only:
*Any person who is unknown to the staff must have picture identification. Because of staff changes, it may be necessary to produce identification each time.
There is no formal routine inspection or daily examination of noses and throats at the Center. Parents are requested to assume the responsibility of keeping children home if there is any doubt about their being ready and fit for interaction with other children.

If a child becomes ill while at the Center, we will attempt to contact the parent on campus first according to his/her schedule. The parent will be expected to take the child home as soon as possible to avoid exposing other children any further. Following the onset of an illness, the child's return to the Center should be determined by the following:
Note: Absolutely no medication can be administered by the Center's staff. Do not put medication in your child's lunch box or leave it for your child to administer to himself. It is the parent's or legal guardian's responsibility to administer the medication personally.
