Who can apply
Graduates of or seniors in accredited secondary schools or those who have a secondary school equivalency (GED). See what BU expects when evaluating applications.
How to apply
- Complete and submit an official application with $35 non-refundable fee to the Office of Admissions
- Request transcripts of secondary school grades be sent by
the school to the university - Take and arrange to have SAT or ACT test scores sent directly
from the testing service
Acceptance is determined after evaluation of high school work, achievement, SAT or ACT test scores, personal characteristics and enrollment capacity. Decisions are made without regard to race, age,
color, creed, national origin, gender or disabilities.
When to apply
Beginning in September, application reviews are made as they are received and on their own merit. Applicants generally receive a decision within four to six weeks. Some majors fill quickly, so early application (September through November) is encouraged. To be considered for nursing, your application must be complete by Nov. 15 of your senior year.
