Luzerne County Community Curriculum Guides

For most majors, students who have completed an Associate's degree at Luzerne County Community College are able to complete a Bachelor's degree at BU in two years provided they have followed the appropriate curriculum guide. These curriculum guides (called 2+2 programs) have been developed for many majors at Bloomsburg.

The curriculum guide provides a suggested sequence of courses. It may be possible to change this sequence, but students should consult with an advisor before doing this! The Transfer Guides that accompany each 2+2 program tell you what the equivalent course at BU is for each course taken at LCCC. They also provide advice on course selection when a general requirement or an elective is specified in the LCCC curriculum. One general education requirement that is not listed in this guide is the diversity requirement. No extra credits are required to satisfy this requirement, but at least two courses selected to satisfy other requirements must also be from the diversity course list. Check the BU general education web site for a list of these courses.
