About the Department

The Department of Business Education (BE) and Information and Technology Management (ITM) offers:

  • a major in BE
  • a major in ITM
  • a minor in ITM at the undergraduate level
  • a minor in Legal Studies
  • an M.Ed. in BE at the graduate level

The University and its College of Business offer degree programs accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.

Accreditation

The College of Business earned accreditation by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) in 2004 at both the undergraduate and MBA levels. The BE program is fully accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) and the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE).

The Department of Business Education and Information and Technology Management continuously strives to provide quality education for our students. This quality is achieved through an emphasis in teaching, advising, continuous improvement in the curriculum, and applied research activities. Our graduates are prepared with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the education or business sectors.
