Student Veteran's Association Executive Board


Joshua Bentley, president

Bentley, a senior mass communications and sign language interpreting major, served two combat deployment to Iraq (2004-05) with Task Force Dragon and the 56th Stryker Brigade (2008-09). He is one of the founding members of the Student Veteran's Association and originally wrote the by-laws for the organization. Bentley has been active duty at Fort Drum (2000-03) and in the National Guard (2003-present) as a combat engineer.

Adam Wendoloski, vice president

Wendoloski, a criminal justice major from Wilkes-Barre, enlisted in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard as an Infantryman in 2002. He deployed with Aco 1-109 Infantry (2005-06) stationed at Al Asad Airbase in Western Iraq. Following this deployment, Wendoloski transferred to active duty Army and was stationed at Fort Stewart, Georgia with the 3rd Infantry Division. From 2007-2008, he deployed with 3rd ID's 4th Brigade Combat Team. He was assigned to Aco 4-64 Armor, which spent 14 months conducting patrols and missions throughout Southern Baghdad's West Rashid District. In June 2009, he left active duty in order to attend school at BU. Wendoloski is a member of the PA Guard's Aco 3-103 Armor and is enrolled in ROTC at Bloomsburg with plans to commission upon graduation.

Jill Reed

Reed, a junior early childhood/special education major, joined the Student Veteran's Association because her family has a strong military history, and it would be a great way to show her support for them. In addition, her support of BUSVA allows her to get other people to show their support as well.
