Option A1) COMPSCI.121 Object-Oriented Programming with Java

Option A2) COMPSCI.122 Graphical User Interfaces in Java or other 300 or higher 56 course (3 to 4 credits)

Option B1) COMPSCI.123 Visual Basic I (3)

Option B2) COMPSCI.223 Visual Basic II (3)

#### Mathematics Electives (6 credits MATH.300 or above; including at least 1 course from the following list):

MATH.331 Modern Geometry

MATH.360 Number Theory

MATH.421 Advanced Calculus

MATH.422 Complex Variables

#### BS Concentration - minimum 9 credits from one of the following groups:

Applied Math (3 courses from MATH.322, 342, 343, 361, 381, 385, 461, 462, 471, or 472)

Computer Science (3 courses from COMPSCI.221 and higher)

Statistics (3 courses from MATH.240, 243, 342, 343, 441, 446, 461, 462)

Actuarial Science (3 courses from MATH.343, 381, 461, 462)

Grad School Prep (MATH.310 and 421 are both required, one of which counts as a core course in the major. 2 courses from MATH.360, 385, 411, 422, 451)

Physics (3 courses from PHYSICS.300 and higher)

Courses MATH.311 and MATH.305 may not be counted as requirements for the major.
