Corporate and Continuing Education: Online Courses
The internet now provides adult learners with the opportunity to "attend" classes without leaving the comfort of their living rooms or offices! In partnership with Ed2Go, BU's Corporate and Continuing Education division now offers hundreds of affordable, high quality, noncredit on-line courses on a variety of topics relevant to your personal and professional life. To participate in online study, you'll need a computer with internet access, an email address, and specific program software if required for the course.
Experience the latest educational technology using interactive, richly illustrated Web-friendly versions of your lessons, quizzes, and assignments. You'll be able to complete all course work, view progress reports, and interact with the instructor and other students using nothing more than your computer and a Web browser. Each six-week course consists of 12 lessons, two each week. In most cases, textbooks are not required. An online orientation program walks you through the whole process.
- These courses are especially convenient for those with work, school, or childcare commitments; physical disabilities; limited access to transportation; or other circumstances that make it difficult to participate in a traditional classroom setting. If you're a single parent, a convalescent confined to home, a retiree with a passion for learning, a worker seeking a promotion or new career, or someone who simply enjoys learning new things, online noncredit courses may fit nicely into your educational plans.
