Social Security & Retirement Planning

This eight hour course begins with a discussion of the need to save in addition to Social Security. The five biggest mistakes in retirement planning are reviewed. Demographics, problems and solutions are discussed concerning Social Security. Social Security coverages, earnings issues, tax issues, and computation of benefits are reviewed. Retirement issues discussed are: inflation, a planning process, budgets, compounding, Rule of 72, and investment tools and techniques.

Morning refreshments will be provided and lunch will be served at no additional charge.

This course is approved by the PA Insurance Department for 8 continuing education units.

Identity Theft and Anti Money Laundering

April 16, 2015 – Thursday

8am to 4:30pm

This 8 -hour course will include a morning session on the very timely topic of Identity Theft, what it is, how it happens, laws dealing with ID theft and liability.

The afternoon session will cover Money Laundering issues, laws, insurance company obligations and agent responsibilities. This course is approved by the PA Insurance Department for 8 continuing education units.
