Bachelor Degree Completion Program

Bachelor's Degree Early Childhood Education

Bloomsburg University and Harrisburg Area Community College are partnering to provide an Early Childhood Education Degree completion program.

T.E.A.C.H. scholarships are available! Details are available on the Pennsylvania Child Care Association (PACCA) website.

Further information regarding the completion program will be made available after June 15,2009, pending the review of Chapter 49 updates by the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE).

Master of Science in Instructional Technology

The Department of Instructional Technology at Bloomsburg University is offering their Master of Science degree using a distance learning approach.

All courses for the degree are offered online, and some courses will be offered in a blended format. The blended format classes will be a combination of six face-to-face meetings at the Dixon Center and ten online class meetings.

The Master’s Degree in Instructional Technology has three options:

The Instructional Technology Specialist track is designed for professionals who are integrating interactive technologies into educational teaching environments. This program is ideal for individuals who are interested in becoming technology specialists, instructional technologists, curriculum developers, media specialists, and teachers who integrate technology into the classroom.

The Corporate track is designed for professionals who will be designing training solutions using a combination instructional design, multimedia development, authoring, web development, eLearning, and project management.

The eLearning Developer’s Certificate is designed for professionals who want to update their skills in the design, development, delivery, and evaluation of eLearning training solutions.

We are offering 57.542 Technology Applications for the Classroom this summer at the Dixon Center, and 57.560 Multimedia Productions and 57.570 Introduction to Web Development this fall at the Dixon Center.

Professional Development for Educational Interpreters in the Capital Region

Bloomsburg University’s American Sign Language/English Interpreting Program is excited to announce this new opportunity for skill development and enhancement for educational interpreters! Bloomsburg University has developed a course sequence to prepare individuals with the competencies necessary to successfully complete the EIPA. This course sequence is a great avenue to develop your knowledge, improve your skills or prepare for a credentialing process. The sequence was developed with the specific needs of educational interpreters in mind. Courses will be geared toward non-traditional students with online, evening and weekend courses available at the Dixon Center through the Department of Exceptionality Programs at Bloomsburg University.
