Multicultural Center 230 (Capacity 100)

The Multicultural Center is an elegant facility that can be arranged to accommodate a variety of needs. Special advance permission for use of this room is required from the Director of the Multicultural Center.

Specifications: 38' x 60', 2,470 sq. ft.

Types of Events Held: Meetings, workshops, luncheons, dinners, programs, art exhibits, small performances, receptions, seminars

Room Features: Track lighting, exhibit space, display cases (5), in-house sound, room darkening capability, voice/data connections, wall mounted screen

Set-up Capabilities: round tables (18), rectangular tables (10-15), Rows (100), u-shape (40), circle (25)

Other: Conference room 226 is a staging space for food service when there is a food service event in the Multicultural Center.

Hideaway 209 (Capacity 80)

The Hideaway is truly a multipurpose facility. At one time this housed four Kehr Union bowling lanes and has since been renovated to meet the need for additional programming space. This is a long but narrow space used for a variety of event types.

Specifications: 31' x 86', 2,375 sq. ft.

Types of Events Held: Meetings, workshops, small venue performances, social events, small luncheons/dinners, informal meetings, dances

Room Features: Permanent fixed stage with curtain, ceiling mounted screen, Barco projection system, in house sound system, cable T.V., bar/sink area with refrigerator, 2 ceiling mounted spotlights, adjustable lighting

Set-up Capabilities: Rows (75), round tables (8), classroom/ 6' rectangular tables (10), small u-shaped circle (20)

Conference Room 340 (Capacity 30)

Conference Room 340 is one of several intermediate size conference spaces in the Kehr Union. This is requested more than any other meeting space in the building. This room can also be divided into two smaller conference spaces.

Specifications: 20' x 50', 1,000 sq. ft.

Types of Events Held: Meetings, small workshops, departmental meetings, staff meetings, informal luncheons/breakfast meetings, conference headquarters (good location)

Room Features: Modular conference tables, wall mounted screen, data/voice connections

Set-up Capabilities: This room normally remains "as is."
