Chris Blockus has been a secondary school counselor since 1999 and has worked both at the middle and high school levels. He is currently a school counselor at Midd-West High School in Middleburg. In addition, he has been a member of the BU's College of Education PK-12 Education Council since its inception in 2009.
In this council, Blockus has dedicated himself to helping advance all aspects of the teacher and counselor education programs at the university. He has been an instructor in the school counseling and student affairs program since fall 2008. He takes pride in helping students gain an understanding of the "real-life " application of school counseling.
