Sang-Yong Oh joined Bloomsburg University in the Fall of 2012. He received his Ph.D. from the University at Buffalo in the summer of 2014. His area of specialization is International Economics, and in his dissertation he analyzed the role of internet search engine that provides free service to user and instead charges the advertisement fee from the other side of the market. His research interests also lie in the financial development in European countries. He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Economics from Sungkyunkwan University in Seoul, South Korea.
He enjoys teaching at Bloomsburg. He has also taught several courses at the University at Buffalo and Buffalo State College before joining Bloomsburg University.
