Host a student intern
As a professional, business owner or organization manager, you may wish to help a student gain real world experience while applying theories and skills learned in class.
Internships are usually completed during a student's junior or senior year. Depending upon the student's major, 1 to 12 credits may be earned. Each credit hour requires 40 work hours. Interns are assigned both an on-site supervisor and a faculty member to oversee and guide their work. An internship may be paid employment or volunteer; full-time or part-time; for a semester or a summer term.
Individuals, businesses or organizations wishing to host a BU student intern should contact Joseph Kissell, Registrar, at 570-389-4263 or jkissell@bloomu.edu for further information.
