Items to Pack

The following is a list of suggested items that you should consider packing when you prepare to travel abroad. This list is not by any means exhaustive. However, it will give you a place to start when you plan your trip.

• Passport
• Money specific to your country of destination (This can be ordered at your local bank prior to departure. Just make sure you have some pocket money for your night of arrival, covering at least a taxi and dinner.)
• Research the climate in your country of destination and bring clothes accordingly
• Toiletries
• Class materials, such as notebooks, pens, and books
• Check the academic calendar of your host institution
• Good walking shoes/practical clothing
