The morning ceremony will be held for the Colleges of Liberal Arts and Science and Technology; the afternoon ceremony is for the Colleges of Business and Professional Studies. Any number of guests may attend; no tickets necessary.

Graduates will assemble in Centennial Hall at least one-half hour before each ceremony. All seating for graduates and guests will be on the quad. Disabled guests and the elderly can be assisted to their seats by commencement staff. Each ceremony is expected to last approximately two hours.

The graduation ceremonies will take place on the Academic Quad, rain or shine. Please be prepared if the weather is expected to be inclement on May 10. If severe weather should occur during a ceremony, an abbreviated ceremony will take place.

On the day of graduation, it is strongly suggested that you and your guests arrive with ample time to park, either on upper- or lower-campus. Limited parking close to the quad will be reserved for handicapped guests. Six buses will be running throughout campus to transport guests to the quad.

The University Police will be present for the duration of the day and handicapped and disabled guests should request assistance from them for parking or special needs. Individuals who cannot walk any distance can be dropped off at the back of Bakeless, where there will be police and staff to assist. Special seating will be available for guests in wheelchairs along with one additional attendee. Please arrive in advance to allow the time to be comfortably seated in this area.

Those arriving for the afternoon ceremony, please come no earlier than 1:00 p.m. since guests from the first ceremony will need to exit the campus in order to clear available parking spaces. The road to the lower campus will close for parking after all lots are filled and guests will be directed to upper-campus parking areas.

Graduates will line up for the procession no later than 9:30 a.m. for the morning ceremony and 2:30 p.m. for the afternoon. Graduates can either wear their cap and gown or robe upon arrival.
