Eligibility for Care at the Student Health Center

Because the Health Center is totally funded by student fees, only students are eligible for Health Center services. Bloomsburg University faculty and staff and all campus visitors needing medical care will be taken to or instructed to go to the Bloomsburg Hospital Emergency Room, or to their private healthcare provider.

If you're a full time student taking nine or more credits, the Health Center fee of $62 per semester is included in the fees with your tuition. In addition to paying the Health Center fee, you must have a completed Health form on file. If you've met these two conditions, you may use all services offered at the Student Health Center.

If you're taking less than nine credits, you will not be billed the Health Center fee with your tuition. However, you can still submit a completed Health Form and pay the $62 fee at the Health Center. This will entitle you to all services offered at the Student Health Center.

Summer students pay a Health Center fee based on the number of credits taken during the summer. All Health Center services are available if a completed Health Form is submitted.
