Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania is seeking an Assistant Wrestling Coach (AA#07-2-327) who possesses the coaching expertise and organizational skills needed to work with all aspects of a successful NCAA Division I wrestling program.
Full-time, 12-month position which requires assisting the head coach with the organization and supervision of all aspects of the wrestling program, including: recruitment of qualified student-athletes with a commitment to academic success, ability to relate to student-athletes, compliance with NCAA, Eastern Wrestling League (EWL) and Bloomsburg policies and regulations, scheduling, CPR certification, practice and meet planning, strength and conditioning, NCAA weight certification, budget management, fundraising, community engagement, camps and clinics, and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach and/or Athletic Director.
Bachelor's degree is required. Applicants must have a minimum of one year successful coaching at the club, high school or intercollegiate level. Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population is required.
Prior to a final offer of employment, the selected candidate will be required to submit to a background check including, but not limited to, employment verification, educational and other credential verification, and criminal background. Finalists for the position must communicate well and successfully complete an on-campus interview process.
Anticipated start date of May 2013, but is negotiable. Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience; an excellent benefits package is included.
