The Department of Languages and Cultures at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates to teach one section of beginning Arabic
(AA#15-8-288). One quarter position for fall 2009 and spring 2010 only.
Qualifying Experience/Education: MA in Arabic or Education for Instructor position required; PhD in Arabic or Education for Assistant Professor position required. Equivalent education considered. Native or near-native fluency in Arabic required; fluency in English required. Experience teaching Arabic desirable but not necessary. Applicants with first-hand experience in the Arab world preferred. Excellent references required; demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations preferred.
