Psychology Department, Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, seeks a tenure-track assistant professor with a Ph.D. in psychology and expertise in an area such as but not limited to cognitive neuroscience, sensation and perception, or behavior analysis.
The successful applicant will be expected to teach statistics, an experimental methods course, a laboratory course involving animal models, other service courses in psychology, and upper-division courses in his/her area of expertise. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations is preferred.
Finalists for the position must have good communication skills and successfully complete an interview process and/or teaching demonstration. Recommendation for hiring is needed by the majority of the regular, full-time department faculty.
