Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level (AA#52-8-08), in an ACS-approved program, to begin Fall 2010.

Candidates must have a Ph.D. in chemistry or biochemistry; ABD’s will be considered. Candidates are expected to develop an active research program that can involve undergraduates, and must demonstrate a commitment to recruitment, retention and advisement of students. Experience in teaching biochemistry and general chemistry to science majors and non-majors is preferred.
