Math Tenure Track Position Ad

The Department of Mathematical and Digital Sciences at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania invites applications for two full time tenure-track assistant professor positions to begin in the fall semester of 2017 (AA# 53-6-093 and AA# 53-6-094). An earned Ph.D. in Mathematics, Statistics or Data Science from an accredited institution is required by August 18, 2017. Applicants in all areas of these three disciplines are encouraged to apply. For one position, preference may be given to those with strong background in Data Science. A strong commitment to excellence in teaching undergraduate courses with effective use of technology, research, and a demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations is preferred. Demonstrated strong commitment to teaching, research, continuous scholarly activity and service is required for tenure. Finalists for the positions must communicate well and successfully complete teaching and research demonstrations, as components of the interview process.
