Strategic Management And/Or Human Resource Management

Department of Management: Assistant/Associate Professor (AA#93-1-187) to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Strategy, Business Policies, Human Resource Management. A secondary interest in International Management is desirable. Interested individuals will possess proficiency in teaching. Willingness to instruct general management courses, when necessary, is also required.

Teaching load is 12 hours. Scholarly activity, student advisement, and academic service are integral parts of this faculty position. Qualifications include teaching effectiveness and scholarly activity. Instructional delivery can occur during the regular semesters as well as summer courses through online, traditional and alternative instructional methods.

Academic requirements include an earned PhD in business or related field from an accredited institution required by August 20, 2012 with qualifications to teach courses in Strategic Management and Human Resource Management and record of scholarly activity. Related business experience is desirable. Finalist(s) for this position must successfully complete an interview process and a teaching demonstration as judged by the faculty. Recommendation for hiring is needed from a majority of the regular full-time faculty within the department. Rank and salary are commensurate with experience and qualifications. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations is required.
