Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania is establishing a two-year pool of temporary faculty who could be called upon to teach undergraduate biology courses during the summer and academic year as needed.
MS in biology or equivalent required. Experience teaching basic undergraduate courses preferred. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations preferred. Most immediate departmental needs are for teaching Anatomy and Physiology laboratories, non-majors Biology, Human Sexuality, and various majors Biology laboratories. Finalists for this position must communicate well and successfully complete an interview process and/or teaching demonstration, as judged by the department faculty. Recommendation for hiring is needed from a majority of the regular, full-time faculty within the department.
