Temporary Adjunct Faculty Pool

The Department of Business Education and Information and Technology Management seeks to build a pool of part-time instructors. Openings may be available during May 31, 2010 through May 31, 2012.

The pool members must hold a Master’s Degree, Ph.D. or JD in the appropriate field from (at minimum) a regionally accredited institution. Completion of scholarly activities, including refereed journal articles and professional certifications is desirable.

Courses to be taught may include but are not limited to the following:

Prior to a final offer of employment, the selected candidate will be required to submit to a background check including, but not limited to, employment verification, educational and other credential verification, and criminal background check. Completing this search is contingent upon available funding Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations preferred.

Finalists must communicate well and successfully complete an interview process and/or teaching demonstration as judged by the department faculty. Recommendation for hiring is needed by the majority of the regular, full-time department faculty.
