Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania's Andruss Library seeks to build pools of applicants for full-time temporary professional librarians for the following positions.
Applicants may be called upon in the case of sudden or emergency position openings that arise before October 2012. Applicants must hold an ALA accredited Masters in Library/Information Sciences. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations and prior academic library experience are preferred. Finalists for a specific position must communicate well and successfully complete an interview process, as judged by department faculty. Recommendation for hiring is needed by the majority of the regular, full-time department faculty. Prior to a final offer of employment, the selected candidate will be required to submit to a background check including, but not limited to, employment verification, educational and other credential verification, and criminal background check.
