How to Apply

Follow the application procedures in the announcement. After screening by a search committee, successful candidates will complete an employment application, provided by the university or which can be downloaded as a (.pdf).


Mathematics, Computer Science and Statistics

The Department of Mathematics, Computer Science and Statistics at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania is accepting applications for its pool of temporary digital forensics instructors. Applicants from this pool will be considered as needed to teach one or more digital forensics courses such as Introduction to Computer Forensics, Computer Forensics File Systems, Forensic Analysis in a Windows Environment, Forensic Analysis of Small Devices, UNIX/LINUX for Computer Forensics, Network Security and Forensics, and Advanced Topics in Digital Forensics.

Applicants must have either a Master’s degree in Digital Forensics, Computer Science or a related area, or a Bachelor’s degree and significant work experience in digital forensics.

Submit a letter of application, curriculum vitae, unofficial transcripts (undergraduate and graduate, if any), and contact information for three professional references to: Digital Forensics Search Committee, Department of Mathematics, Computer Science and Statistics, Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, 400 East Second Street, Bloomsburg, PA 17815.

The application deadline for this pool is August 1, 2013.

When applicants from the pool are considered for teaching positions, preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated competence in teaching, ability to work with diverse populations and experience in digital forensics. The letter of application should address the applicant’s qualifications in these areas.
