Department of Music

The Department of Music at Bloomsburg University is seeking individuals to serve as temporary/part-time faculty. Qualified applicants will be included in a “pool” which will be used to provide applied lessons when the need arises. Possible assignments include piano, voice, brass, woodwinds, strings, percussion, guitar.

Earned Bachelor’s Degree, plus 15 semester hours of graduate credit in music, and performance-level proficiency in applied teaching area required. Master’s degree preferred. Demonstrated competence in teaching and/or teaching experience required. College-level teaching experience and ability to work with diverse populations preferred.

Finalists for this position must communicate well and successfully complete an interview process, as judged by the department faculty.
