Department of Music

The Department of Music at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania is seeking individuals to serve as temporary/part-time faculty. Qualified applicants will be included in a "pool" which will be used to provide applied lessons when the need arises. Possible assignments include piano, voice, brass, woodwinds, strings, percussion, guitar.

Requirements: Earned Bachelor's Degree, plus 15 semester hours of graduate credit in music, and performance-level proficiency in applied teaching area required. Master's degree preferred. Demonstrated competence in teaching and/or teaching experience required. College-level teaching experience and ability to work with diverse populations preferred. Finalists for this position must communicate well and successfully complete an interview process, as judged by the department faculty.
