The Philosophy Department at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania is establishing a pool of temporary, part-time faculty members to teach undergraduate courses in philosophy or Introduction to Religious Studies, as need arises. The doctorate in the appropriate field is preferred, Masters degree in the appropriate field considered. Prior college level teaching experienced preferred. Finalist(s) for this position must communicate well and successfully complete an interview process and/or teaching demonstration, as judged by the department faculty. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations preferred. Recommendation for hiring is needed from a majority of the regular, full time faculty within the department.
