Department of Political Science

The Department of Political Science at Bloomsburg University of PA is creating a pool of temporary, part-time faculty members to teach introductory courses, as the need arises. Ph.D. preferred, ABD and a Masters degree in Political Science will also be considered. Successful candidates must have teaching credentials and good communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations preferred. Finalist(s) for this position must communicate well and successfully complete an interview process and/or teaching demonstration, as judged by the department faculty. Recommendation for hiring is needed from a majority of the regular, full-time faculty within the department. Prior to a final offer of employment, the selected candidate will be required to submit to a background check including, but not limited to, employment verification, educational and other credential verification, and criminal background check.
