Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania's Department of Anthropology is seeking to establish a two-year pool of candidates for temporary teaching positions. Candidates must have, at the minimum, a Master's degree in anthropology; ABD or Ph.D. preferred. College teaching experience is required. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations is required. Persons hired for these positions will be expected to teach introductory and upper-level courses in anthropology, depending on the curricular needs at a particular time the opening occurs. Archaeology and Cultural Anthropology teaching experience preferred.
Salary rates are competitive. Finalists for a specific position must communicate well and successfully complete an interview process and/or teaching demonstration, as judged by the regular full-time faculty members. Recommendation for hiring is needed by the majority of the full-time, tenure-track faculty members.
