The Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania Department of Exercise Science is seeking qualified applicants for a two year pool of temporary faculty members. Teaching responsibilities include fitness and health related courses and exercise science courses. Master’s Degree in Exercise Science, Physical Education, or a related field required. Teaching experience and current ACSM or NSCA professional certifications preferred. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations preferred.
Finalists for these positions must communicate well and successfully complete the interview process as judged by department faculty. Recommendation for hiring is needed by the majority of the regular, full-time department faculty. Prior to a final offer of employment, the selected candidate will be required to submit to a background check including, but not limited to, employment verification, educational and other credential verification, Pennsylvania child abuse history clearance, and criminal background check.
