(2012-2013 Mathematics, Computer Science and Statistics Temporary Pool)

The Department of Mathematics, Computer Science and Statistics at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania seeks individuals to serve as either full-time or part-time temporary faculty. Qualified applicants will be included in a “pool” of acceptable individuals which will be used to fill classroom teaching assignments as the need arises.

Assignments might include such courses as College Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Introduction to Statistics, Mathematical Thinking, Finite Mathematics, and Applied Matrix Algebra. Minimum requirements: earned Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics or related area. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations required.

Finalists for these positions must communicate well and successfully complete an interview process and/or teaching demonstrations as deemed by the department faculty.

Deadline: ongoing through December 2013.

Prior to a final offer of employment, the selected candidate will be required to submit to a background check including, but not limited to, employment verification, educational and other credential verification, and criminal background check. Completing these searches is contingent on available funding.
