Psychology: Temporary Adjunct Faculty Pool

Psychology Department, Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, invites applications for a two-year pool of temporary faculty members to teach undergraduate courses as needed.

Master’s degree required; Ph.D. in Psychology is preferred. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations and prior collegiate teaching experience are preferred. Finalists for any position must have good communication skills and successfully complete an interview process. Recommendation for hiring is needed by the majority of the regular, full-time department faculty.

Send a letter of application, available teaching evaluations, curriculum vita, unofficial copies of graduate transcripts, and the names and contact information for three professional references by June 1, 2012 to Dr. Winona Cochran, Chairperson, Department of Psychology, 400 E. Second St., Bloomsburg, PA 17815. Emailed application materials will not be accepted.

The completion of any search is contingent on available funding. Prior to a final offer of employment, the selected candidate will be required to submit to a background check including, but not limited to, employment verification, educational, and other credential verification, and criminal background check.
