Harvey A. Andruss Library, Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, invites applications for a pool for a full-time, temporary Public Services Librarian to enable students and faculty to fully utilize the Library’s services and resources. Required: An ALA accredited Masters in Library/Information Sciences, and experience using and teaching online information resources. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations and prior academic library experience are preferred.
The Temporary Public Services Librarian operates under the authority of the Director of Library Services. The Temporary Public Services Librarian will assist undergraduate, graduate, and faculty researchers in locating relevant information, participate in the Library’s Information Literacy Instruction program, keep informed of current events in the Library profession that are pertinent to job responsibilities, and cooperate as a team member with other librarians and staff in performing other professional duties as directed by the Director of Library Services.
