Minimum requirement MA in the history of the Middle East and/or the Muslim World; ABD or Ph.D. in the history of the Middle East and/or the Muslim World preferred.
The successful candidate is expected to teach lower level survey courses and upper level courses in the history of the Middle East and/or the Muslim World. Teaching experience at college/university level preferred. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations is preferred. Finalists for the position must communicate well and successfully complete a phone interview. The majority of regular, full-time department faculty must make a recommendation for hiring.
