To facilitate the research process, the reference librarians of the Harvey A. Andruss Library encourage students and faculty to learn more about the principles, techniques, and resources in our electronic environment. The one hour sessions listed below are designed for students new to the library's resources, but anyone may attend. We welcome your participation and any questions you bring.

 

Workshops Offered for Fall, 2007


Find a Job on the Internet

In this one-hour workshop, you will gain guidance in searching the Internet for employment opportunities in specific geographic areas and professions. Learn to search national and international job clearinghouses, search engines, and more. This workshop will be held in the Library Instruction Computer Lab (Room 243) on the 2nd Floor of Andruss Library at the time and date below.

Piloting PILOT

Through this one hour workshop, you will gain expertise in searching the library's online catalog for book holdings, periodical title holdings, and more. The class will be held in the Library Instruction Computer Lab (Room 243) on the Second Floor of the Andruss Libary at the time and date below.
