Chairperson Steven B. BarthSteven B. Barth, of Lewisburg, holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and economics from Lycoming College, '78, and a master of business administration from BU, '86. He is senior vice president and loan officer at Community Bank, Milton. During his career, Barth has served on the staffs of Northern Central Bank, Commonwealth Bancshares Corporation/Meridian Bank and West Milton State Bank. Civic activities have included the United Way, Boy Scouts, Go Northumberland, SEDA-Council of Governments' Foundation board and loan committee, Frosty Valley Country Club, Danville Area Community Center board and Ralpho Township Municipal Sewer Authority. Barth was appointed to the Council of Trustees in 1998. |

Vice Chairperson Robert DampmanRobert Dampman, of Ringtown, is a BU graduate, '65, and former superintendent of the Bensalem Township School District. He is a legislative assistant to state Sen. Robert Tomlinson and member of the North Schuylkill School Board. Dampman's career in education included service as social studies teacher, guidance counselor, principal and district superintendent. His service has been at Bensalem High School, Cecelia Snyder Middle School and the Bensalem district office. Dampman has made numerous presentations to community, civic and professional groups on topics ranging from education issues to time management and, since retiring in December 1994. He has fulfilled temporary administrative assignments in Perkasie and Kintnersville. Dampman was appointed to the Council of Trustees in November 2003. |

Secretary Marie ConleyMarie Conley, of Harrisburg, currently operates a consulting business focused on fundraising, event planning and political organization, and outreach. Since 2003, Conley has worked for President George W. Bush, former state Governor Tom Ridge, Attorney General Tom Corbett, Sen. Arlen Specter, state Supreme Court Justice Thomas Saylor, the Republican State Committee of Pennsylvania, Senate Appropriations Chairman Jake Corman, and Pennsylvanians for Effective Government. Conley's noted work includes serving as the executive director of the Friends of Tom Corbett Committee from January 2005 through September 2007. In November 2002, she served as Corbett's finance director and as executive director of his 2005 Inaugural Committee. Conley served as finance director for the Fisher for Governor Campaign from 2001-02, and from 1999-2001 served as finance director for Republican State Committee. In addition, she serves as secretary for the BU Council of Trustees, a member on the on the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education Board of Governors and as chair of its Human Resources Committee. |

Ramona H. Alley, holds a bachelor's degree in social sciences and communications from East Tennessee State University and is currently the office manager at the Alley Medical Center in Berwick. She has been a trustee of the YMCA since 1989 and has served as president of the group, as well as being past president of the Columbia County Medical Auxiliary. Alley has served on the Penn Wood Girl Scout Council, holds Girl Scouting's highest rank and is active in the Thespian Society. Alley also serves on the Berwick Hospital Chairity Ball committee and was chair in 1994 and 1995. She is a member of the WVIA Public Television Board of Trustees executive committee, is past president of Beta Sigma Phi sorority and was the Columbia County Presidential Campaign chair for the Reagan-Bush 1988 campaign, the 1992 Bush-Quayle campaign, the Gov. Thornburgh Campaign county chair, and the county senior citizen coordinator for the Gov. Tom Ridge campaign. Additionally, she has served on Gov. Casey's judicial selection board. Alley was appointed to the Council of Trustees in 1983. |

LaRoy G. Davis,of Feasterville, is a graduate of Ashland High School and hold a bachelor's degree in comprehensive social science from BU, '67, and a master's degree in sociology and economics from Trenton State College, '72. Additionally, Davis holds a supervisory certificate from BU and did post-masters work at BU, Penn State University, Temple University and Marywood College. A former social studies teacher at Bensalem Township High School, Davis has served as president of the Bensalem Township Education Association and in a variety of posts with the Pennsylvania State Education Association. Civic activities include the United Way, Boy Scouts, World Affairs Council and the Bucks County Redevelopment Authority. Davis is a past member of the U.S. Commission for the Bicentennial of the U.S. Constitution. He participated in the Fulbright International Education Seminars in India in 1971 and the United Arab Republic in 1974. Davis was appointed to the Council of Trustees in 1980. |

Charles C. Housenick, of Bloomsburg, is a graduate of BU and was a member of the Bloomsburg Town Council for 12 years. His previous careers include president and general manager of the former Housenick Motor Co. and an account executive with the financial planning firms of E.F. Hutton and Co., Williamsport, and Oppenheimer and Co., Bloomsburg. Housenick also has a history of community service. He chaired the town's parking and municipal authorities and is a past director of the Bloomsburg Rotary Club, Columbia Montour Chamber of Commerce and Columbia Alliance for Economic Growth. His memberships include the Bloomsburg chapter of the Elks, the Eagles Mere Country Club and the Bloomsburg Fair Association. Housenick was appointed to the Council of Trustees in 2005. |

David W. Klingerman Sr., of Mainville, holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Columbia University, where he also earned two varsity letters in football and was once named Ivy League honorable mention. He is currently vice president of JDK Management Co., which operates nursing facilities, hotels and restaurants and oversees land development projects. Klingerman has owned and operated nursing care and assisted living facilities in northeast Pennsylvania since 1981. For the past 35 years, Klingerman has owned Klingerman Farms, which produces soybeans, corn, wheat and beef cattle on more than 800 acres in Columbia County and formerly owned and operated Klingerman Feed and Grain Center. Klingerman served on the Bloomsburg Area School Board from 1977 to 1992, including two terms as president, and was a member and president during the inception and completion of the new middle school. He obtained certification as a licensed nursing home administrator in 1983. Klingerman was appointed to the Council of Trustees in May 2007. |

Dr. Joseph J. Mowad, of Danville, of Danville, is senior vice president of Geisinger Health System and director emeritus of the urology department at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, where he has worked since 1968. He earned his medical degree from Creighton Medical School in Omaha after studying at the University of Scranton, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Mowad completed his urological and surgical residency at the University of Maryland. Additionally, Dr. Mowad is a clinical professor of urology at Jefferson Medical College and has served as department chair and assistant medical director at GMC, as well as assistant to the president of Geisinger Clinic. He also has served on the board of directors for many Geisinger entities, including Geisinger Clinic, Marworth, Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center and GMC. He also served as chairman of the Governor's Renal Disease Advisory Committee. In Danville, Dr. Mowad served on the board of directors of the First National Bank and was elected to the Fulton Financial Corporation board of directors. He has also served on the Montour County Recreation Authority and as a member of the advisory board of the Montour County Advisory Board on Drug and Alcohol Problems and the Montour County Child Welfare Services. He has also served on the board of directors for Maria Joseph Manor. Dr. Mowad was appointed to the Council of Trustees in November 1994. |

Nancy Vasta, of Langhorne, is a magna cum laude graduate of BU and holds bachelor's degrees in secondary education and history, as well as a master's degree in instructional technology. While at BU, she was a member of two honor societies, Phi Alpha Theta and Kappa Delta Pi, and served as president of the History Club. Vasta has been employed by CIGNA HealthCare since 1999, currently serving as product development director for the Fortune 500 Company. Prior to this role, her career at CIGNA included working as an eHealth product and marketing manager, manager of human resource services, and learning manager. Vasta has made numerous contributions to BU, including services as a member of the College of Business Advisory Board and Corporate Advisory Council. She published a chapter on Return-On-Investment, featured in the book "Winning E-Learning Proposals," by BU professor Karl Kapp. She also served as a guest lecturer for the Healthcare Management graduate program at Marymount University and presented at CIGNA"s 2005 Consumerism Investor Day Conference. Vasta was appointed to Council of Trustees in June 2009. |

Patrick Wilson, of Williamsport, is a 1991 graduate of BU and holds a bachelor's degree in economics. He has a 16-year career with Little League International Baseball and Softball in Williamsport. Wilson currently acts as the vice president of operations, a position he accepted in November 2005. As vice president, he serves as senior executive for the operations department and chair of the rules committee. Prior to the vice president role, Wilson served as assistant international tournament director, director of regional operations and administrative assistant to the vice president of operations. Wilson is active in the Williamsport community and Lycoming County, having served on the Williamsport/Lycoming Chamber of Commerce board of directors, the mayor's ad hoc committee on Police Force Diversity, the United Way of Lycoming County and the Williamsport Recreation Commission. Wilson was appointed to the Council of Trustees in June 2009. |

Student TrusteeTerrell Garrett, of Philadelphia, is a senior interpersonal communications major. He was appointed to the Council of Trustees in June 2009, replacing Nicole Najpauer, who graduated in May. Garrett has been very active with student organizations on campus prior to joining the council. He is the former student director and founder of Men of Intelligence, Notability and Desire (MIND), which is a mentorship program designed to promote the positive image of African American and Latino males in the community. He has also served as former vice president of the Black Cultural Society, executive board member of the Frederick Douglas Institute and community assistant. He has worked as an office assistant in the office of Multicultural Affairs. |
