BLOOMSBURG — The Bloomsburg University Haas Gallery of Art will showcase an art exhibit featuring works by Erik Waterkotte from Friday, Feb. 17, to Monday, March 19.

Waterkotte, a visual artist accentuating pieces in print making and painting, defines the meaning of his creativity, “My work is an exploration of popular culture, myth and fantasy as conveyed through the line between fantasy and reality. I want the viewer to experience imagery that is easily peeled apart, temporal and shifting.”

A reception will be held on Wednesday, March 7, from noon until 2 p.m., including an artist lecture at 1:15 p.m. by Waterkotte.

The Haas Gallery of Art is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Saturdays from noon until 2 p.m. The gallery is closed on Sundays and university holidays. This exhibit is open to the public and free of charge.
