Student Art Show For Immediate Release: March 26, 2013

BLOOMSBURG— Students with a passion for art will showcase their works during a reception on Friday, March 29, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Bloomsburg University’s Haas Gallery of Art. The reception is part of BU’s annual Student Art Show, which runs through April 9 and is open to the public free of charge.

The theme for this year’s show is “Human Nature.” Students are presenting pieces from mediums including painting, photography and prints. Outstanding pieces will be awarded honors by a juried panel.

The Student Art Show is sponsored by the Student Art Association and open to the public, free of charge, Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from noon to 2 p.m. For more information, contact gallery associate Rebecca Morgan at rmorgan@bloomu.edu or (570) 389-4708.
