BLOOMSBURG—The Fall Jazz concert, presented by Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania’s Jazz Ensemble, will feature new music on Tuesday, Dec. 3 at 7 p.m. in Haas Center for the Arts, Mitrani Hall. Admission is free and open to the public.

Under the direction of Stephen D. Clickard, the ensemble will premiere three new charts of Clickard’s creation: “Sextessence,” “Strollin' with Miss J” and “There'll Be Some Changes Made.” “Speak No Evil,” “Señor Frog” and “Killer Joe,” arranged by Don Schamber, will also be performed.

The pieces are written for a 13-piece "little big band" and the compositions are in the modern jazz style, with a few written in the "modal" jazz style. The performance will also include two vocal pieces, “My Funny Valentine” and “Georgia” featuring Janelle Dowkus.
