BLOOMSBURG — "Do You Think Your Roommate is Better Than You?," "Gender and Advertisement," and "The Hiring of Foreign Workers: An Employer's Dilemma" are some of the featured topics for Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania's International Studies Living and Learning Community Lecture Series. All lectures will be offered at Columbia Residence Hall’s Living and Learning Community Center, room 119, at 7 p.m.

Lectures featured this fall are:
- "Gender and Advertisement," Nicole Defenbaugh, assistant professor of communication studies, Wednesday, Sept. 23.
- "Digging Deeper: Asking Questions and Creating Context Research," Linda Neyer, reference librarian, Wednesday, Oct. 7.
- "The Hiring of Foreign Workers: An Employer's Dilemma," Laura Davis, associate professor of finance and legal studies, Wednesday, Oct. 21.
- "Stars on Capitol Hill," Neil Strine, assistant professor of political science, Wednesday, Nov. 4.
- "Geography of Quilts," Karen Trifonoff, professor of geography and geosciences, Wednesday, Nov. 18.
- "Do You Think Your Roommate is Better Than You?" Reza Noubary, professor of mathematics, statistics, and computer science, Wednesday, Dec. 2.
