Martial arts master to give demonstration at BU

BLOOMSBURG— A Chinese martial arts demonstration will be given at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania on Thursday, Oct. 19, at 6 p.m. in the Kehr Union Multipurpose Room B. Master Matt Zhang, an instructor of martial arts from Xi’an, China, and his students from Great Dragon Tai Chi Kung Fu Academy performed at BU last year and have been invited back for an encore presentation, which is free and open to the public.
Zhang has practiced Kung Fu and Tai Chi for more than 25 years and will demonstrate techniques such as Fast Control (military/police routine), Domo Sword, Yang Style Tai Chi, Chen Style Tai Chi, Tai Chi Sword and sword and stick routines. There will also be a question-and-answer session at the end of the demonstration.
