Eligibility for Student Health Services
Need Student Health Insurance?
Information on how to get student health insurance at www.chpstudent.com or at 1-800-633-7867 (Ext. 129)
Students who have enrolled for nine or more credits and have a completed health form on file are welcome to all services provided by the health center. If prescribed medicines are required, a cost of a few dollars may be incurred and will be presented as an option during the student's visit.
Students taking less than nine credits have not paid the student services fee as part of their tuition and will be asked to pay $62 at the time of their visit. Summer students have already paid the Student Health Center fee as part of their tuition and have access to all services offered.
Voluntary birth control recall in effect
Pfizer has announced a voluntary nationwide recall of Lo/Ovral-28 and Norgestrel/Ethinyl Estradiol tablets due to possible inexact tablet counts or out of sequence tablets. Students can visit this website for details or contact their pharmacist with the lot number from their birth control pills.
