Fall 2008 Motor Vehicle Registration

Motor Vehicle Registration - All motor vehicles must be registered with the University Police Department. Students must pre-register their vehicles through STINF. On their designated registration date they must present their vehicle registration and driver's license to obtain their decal. The decals must be properly displayed on the vehicle according to the University Parking Regulations.

To register online, go to the STINF homepage, click on the "Parking Decal" tab, and follow the instructions. STINF will be available to register for a fall parking decal on Monday, August 4, 2008. This process must be completed in order to obtain a decal. Please check the schedule below for designated time and location to receive your decal.

Resident students:

• Aug 20 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Columbia Hall (lounge)
• Aug 20 1 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Elwell Hall (lobby)
• Aug 21 8 p.m. to 12 p.m. Elwell Hall (lobby)
• Aug 21 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Columbia Hall (lounge)
• Aug 24 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. MOA, MPA and Kile Apt. at Monty's

Commuter students:

• Aug 25 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. commuters with 60+ credits A to K at Scranton Commons
• Aug 26 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. commuters with 60+ credits L to Z at Scranton Commons
• Aug 27 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. commuters with 59- credits at Scranton Commons

Additional dates:

• Aug 22 11 p.m. to 3 p.m. all students - Scranton Commons computer lab
• Aug 23 10:30 to 12:00 non-traditional students - Scranton Commons
• Aug 23 1:00 p.m. to 4 p.m. all students - Scranton Commons
• August 24 9:00 pm to 12:00 pm - all student- Scranton Commons

Parking Locations:

• Commuter Students with 60 or more Credits hours: are required to park in the Black Decal designated area located throughout the lower campus.
• Commuter Students with 59 or less Credits hours: are required to park in the Purple Decal designated area located on upper and lower campus.
• Resident Students with 60 or more Credit hours: are required to park in the First Street (Green Lot) located on lower campus.
• Resident Students with 50 or less Credit hours: are required to park in the Blue Lot located on upper campus
• Resident Students residing at MOA and MPA: are required to park in their designated areas, MOA (Maroon Lot), MPA (Tan Lot)
• Resident Students residing at Kile Apts: (Lottery Winners) park in their assigned space, all other students park in the First Street (Green Lot) located on lower campus.

Vehicles must be parked in your designated area until you are scheduled to register. DO NOT park in faculty/staff areas or you will be ticketed hourly at the rate of $15.00 per hour.

Students eligible to obtain a campus parking decal must present the vehicle registration card (owner's card) and driver's license at time of registration. Any commuter students who are not permanent residents of Bloomsburg must show some form of acceptable identification with name and current local address.

Payment procedure: A decal fee will be placed on your account after you are issued a decal by University Police. The Commuter Student decal fee is $37.00 per semester. The Resident Student decal fee is $75.00 per semester.
