As Bloomsburg University’s chief academic officer, Dr. Rogers-Adkinson oversees the university’s Division of Academic Affairs, including the College of Education, College of Liberal Arts, College of Science and Technology, and the Zeigler College of Business, as well as technology and library services, planning/assessment, undergraduate education, and graduate studies/research. With extensive experience in strategic planning at the college and university level, Dr. Rogers-Adkinson’s key initiatives have centered on inclusivity, creating effective cost centers in the auxiliaries, implementation of high impact practices to support student retention, and enhancing supports to underserved and diverse student populations.

Prior to joining Bloomsburg University, Dr. R-A served as dean of the College of Education, Health and Human Studies at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Mo., overseeing seven departments, and 14 auxiliary units including Lift for Life Charter School, the University Autism Center, a Reading Recovery site and the Regional Professional Development Center for school districts in southeast Missouri. Her previous academic appointments included professor and chair of the Department of Special Education at University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, and assistant professor at Wichita State University.
