Biochemistry

LCCC Major -- General StudiesBU Major - Chemistry (B.S.) Biochemistry Option 

The B.S. in Chemistry degree includes general education requirements, core chemistry courses, and electives. This program is appropriate for students going on to advanced study in Chemistry, as well as for students planning careers in industry, education, and research. The biochemistry option prepares students for exciting careers and graduate school in biochemistry.

Two semesters of calculus based physics must be taken prior to taking the Physical Chemistry at Bloomsburg University. It is recommended that this sequence be taken in the summer or during the sophomore year; however, it is possible to take it during the junior year at Bloomsburg, but the course scheduling is difficult.
